We are delighted with the public response to the new products that have been delivered to the shops in the last couple of weeks. The feedback has been excellent as the angling public realise that our products are developed with that extra bit of thought and know how. Sleeping bags, the new rod and the fabulous floating weigh sling are all due for release later in the year with the range for 2009 already nearly complete with yet more unique innovations. Due to your support we continue to go from strength top strength and for that we truly thank you.
The Stalker / Overnight Bag was probably the most awaited of the new products. A concept designed for the mobile angler that is going to find favour with anybody that wishes to travel light yet still have room for all the essentials. The carry handle is detachable and it has a low profile so it sits flush to your back meaning you can creep around the margins without it getting caught up in bank side vegetation. Of course the clear internal compartments that are compatible with our small ‘Clear Tops’ are yet another innovative touch that make the product stand out from the crowd. Visit the stockist page now to see where you can get hold of this great new piece of kit.
We know many of you are awaiting the launch of the 12m pole. They will be with you shortly, just in time to give you that vital edge on the water of your choice. Yet again we apologise for the slight delay but we had to be satisfied the 12m version of the pole was going to prove as robust as the 8m smaller brother has been. We will continue to run both products. The 8m is smaller, lighter, more compact and cheaper and will still be the weapon of choice for many. If you are waiting for the 12m pole top be released and want it soonest, order yours now from any of the shops on the stockists page.
Our desire to ensure top notch customer service is one of the corner stones around which the company is based. If a product does not function as it should speak to the shop from where you purchased it or email Paul at info@anglingintelligence.com. We will not fob you off with rubbish as it is important to us you are totally satisfied with anything you purchase from the range. Occasionally an email is not delivered due to server problems. If you get no response from the email address there may well have been a technical issue, so give Mark a bell and we will help wherever possible 07792 639290.
We were delighted to receive this picture of our market leading big fish weigh sling being put to the use for which it was designed – weighing big fish. And none come bigger than this. This is the mighty scar, the current World Record fish about to be weighed in our sling at a whopping 87 lbs. If anybody else has any pics of the sling, or any other AI product being used for something a bit special, don’t be shy and drop us a line.
Current Drennan Cup Champ lands an immaculate monster tinca to start his retention of the trophy. It was a patchy spring across the board for tench this year, but Darran dug deep and succeeded in stupendous style by banking this lovely fish. Notching up his first drennan award of the new campaign, it was yet again his first visit to the water which produced the goods. You can read in more detail about how he caught it in this Weeks Angling Times, or at http://darrangoulder.blogspot.com/
After an amazing start to the campaign on his chosen venue Warren continued to bank another fish on his very next trip round the M25. There is no doubt it is only a matter of time before he catches his target fish and moves to pastures new. We have our fingers crossed fella!
We must admit we have let the gallery pages slip in recent months, but in the month ahead we will endeavour to get it updated and some of the fabulous fish from the previous few months put on there. Bearing that in mind if you have anything that bit special for the gallery get it emailed over. It doesn’t have to be huge just gorgeous and worthy of note. As many of you take your trips abroad this Summer they don’t even need to be English, just caught in their natural environment as this stunning mid 40 from a recent French trip shows. Tim from England Angling caught this corker on a recent trip to La Horre in France.
That’s it for this update, but next month we will bring you news on the products ready for launch later in the year. It will include the first publicly released photos, prices and the expected availability date, so be sure to log on.
